Thang Hen Lake

Standing on a mountain peak in Quoc Toan village, the panorama is breathtaking with green foliage stretching over the cliff, reflecting on the surface of the lake, meandering through the stone valley.  This is Thang Hen Lake, one of 36 beautiful lakes in the mountains.

Near by Thang Hen lake is Thang Luong lake in the middle of which rises a very beautiful mountain.

Pac Bo cave ( Hang Pac Bo)

Pac Bo is a small village in Trung Hoa Commune, Ha Quang district, located 350km from Hanoi and 55km from Cao Bang town, where T⦣8364;™rung and Mang rivers combine.  The famous Coc Bo Cave is where President Ho Chi Minh, upon returning from 30 years abroad, established his residence and worked on Vietnam⦣8364;™s revolutionary course in 1941.

At the foot of Cacmac Mountain is Lenin Stream, named by President Ho Chi Minh.  In Khuoi Nam, 100m from Coc Bo Cave, Ho Chi Minh presided the 8th session of the National Assembly Conference in May 1941.

Even now, this location remains a sacred place for every Vietnamese.  With its beautiful mountains and rivers, Pac Bo is developing into an interesting tourist area of Vietnam.

Ban Gioc Waterfall

Ban Gioc is the most beautiful and imposing waterfall in Vietnam.  It is situated in Dam Thuy Commune, Trung Khanh district in Cao Bang, near the Sino-Vietnamese border.  The echo of the falls can be heard kilometers away from Trung Khanh.

Water from Quy Xuan River falling down on the stone creates water droplets columns that can also be seen from a distance.

At the foot of the waterfall is a large river, as flat as a piece of mirror, surrounded by many precious kind of flowers.  Ban Gioc fall is famous for a famous fish named Tram Huong.  In the early 1920s, French people started building cottages on the river banks.  They would go there to relax, fish Tram Huong fish and hunt deer.

Ban Gioc fall is 85km from Cao Bang, it takes 4 hours by car to arrive.

Nguom Ngao cave

Nguom Ngao Cave is just 2km from the waterfall.  The cave is enormous and has two entrances (enter by one and exit by the other).  It is considered as one of the most beautiful cave in Vietnam.
