Bac Ha

Bac Ha is 40km Northwest of Highway 7, it's a small town and markets of villigers of Tay, Dao, Nung, Giay and above all Flower Hmong ethnic minorities
Bac Ha market only held on Sunday, where you can see many ethnic mirorities gathering to buy or sell. In this colorful market, you can be realised each minority by the character of their dresses. Here, you can buy many annimals like: Cats, dogs, buffalos, pigs, chickens, ducks......

Getting there and around:

There are two minibuses daily from Laos Cai to Bac Ha.

01 departs from 630am and other departs at 13pm.

The road is good enough for you to have a seat on bus and have a look at wonderful scenery on the way to Bac Ha market.

Trung Do village where inhabited by Tay minority, 7 km far from Bac Ha market. Home to a Tay ethnic minority and we have chance to exchage the cultures experiences to this friendly people.

For more adventure, you can visit Can Cau market, 20km east of Bac Ha market. Here is also a market where you can see more colorful clothes, housewares, food stalls, and horse carts
