  Explore Vietnam and Angkor complex - V13-3-10days

The North of Vietnam with visiting Mai Chau province that is home to H?mong , Dzao and Thai ethnic minorities. Halong to enjoy the emerald water, delicious seafood and use overnight on the mordern Drogan boat.The South of Vietnam with water life of the Mekong Delta people, Cu chi with the incredible underground networks, Saigon with the famous Cathederal, Post office and Ben Thanh Market.  Siem Reap with wonderful  Angkor Wat and Angko thom temples


Day 01 : Hanoi arrrival day

Greet and meet at the airport. You will be transfer to the hotel in Hanoi.

Tonight your guide will take you to go to sample the Vietnamese culinary delights.

Day 02 : Hanoi city tour

After having breakfast, you will have a nice day to visit Hanoi. In the morning, we will visit Ho Chi Minh Mouseleum and the Temple of Literature, the first University of Vietnam built in 1076. Then we will visit army Museum where we have an insight into the war: French War and American War, the former culminated in the final decisive battle Dien Bien Phu. We will review the battle displayed in the museum. In the afternoon, we will visit to intriguing Museum of Ethnology where display sample of 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam.

Today, you will enjoy the puppet show at Thang Long national theater.

Day 03 : Hanoi - Mai Chau-Hoa Binh

Hoa Binh is only 2 hours or 75km from Hanoi. This province is home to the Hmong, Muong, Dzao and Thai ethnic minorities. The area has changed a lot since the largest hydro-electric power station in Southeast Asia was built here, turning the Da River into a lake. Still, even today the province boasts some of Vietnam's most beautiful scenery. We leave Hanoi at 08.00 for the drive to Hoa Binh. Once there we will visit a Muong village and have a picnic lunch an hours drive off the main road.  After having met the local villagers we will continue on for a look at the enormous dam. On the way back we will stop to visit the Ho Chi Minh Trail Museum arriving back in Hanoi around 16.30.

Day 04 : Hanoi  - Halong

This morning we will be pick up your hotel for a four-hour drive through the Red River Delta to Ha Long City. Arrival in Halong City we transfer to  a refurbished wooden sailing junk for a cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Halong Bay, giving us the chance to take in the stunning scenery of this World Heritage Site.

12h30: Board Junk, check-in registration

13h00: Have lunch with welcome wine.

14h00: A fantastic cruise in Ha Long bay

15h00. Optional  visit to Thien Cung cave , Dau Go cave, round over Tuan     Chau island,  or  Sungsot cave

Optional swim at lovely beaches.  Afternoon tea with pastries on the sundeck or in the restaurant and drink  before dinner

 18h00: Junk cruise ankor by the lagoon

19h00: Enjoy 4 course diner and overnight on Junk.

Day 05 : Halong - Hanoi  -  Saigon

Rising to the sound of ocean coming to life for another lovely day. We breakfast over sunset:

07h30 : Junk boat once again sets sail through breathtaking secluded Halong bay

08h00:  Enjoy breakfast while cruising

9h00 :   Visit Bai tu long Bay , Teapot island , Chopstiks island , Bai tho mountain.

11h00 : Return to Halong city and have lunch on board.

12h00 : Back to Halong wharf and disembark
Transfer back to Hanoi airport to the flight : VN 229  1800/2000 to Saigon.

Day 06 : Cu chi tunnel and Saigon city tour

Heading out of town, we drive west to Tay Ninh , the head quarter of Cao Dai region. On arrival, we attend the fantastic mid-day temple service when the followers fill the hall wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. On the way back, we also make stop for an interesting visit to Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunels contained hospitals, plus accommodation and shools, and were used as a military base for the Vietcong in the American war.

This afternoon, we have a city tour of Saigon. Today sight-seeing  will give you an insight into Saigon life.  Take a glimpse of downtown Sai Gon and the BinhTay Market in Cho Lon with stop over at ThienHau, a 150 year old Chinese Temple, Lacquerwares workshop, Indpendant Palace and Jade Emperor pagoda.

Day 07 : Saigon - Mekong delta -Siem Reap

Mekong Delta is the southernmost region of Vietnam. It is often referred to as the rice bowl of Vietnam as it produces three harvests per year. The fertile Mekong Delta is also famous for its tropical fruits and flowers. The Delta area marks the end of a 4,500km journey made by the Mekong River after having traveled through six countries. Traditional transportation in the Delta is by boat along a vast network of canals and channels. Boating along these canals and visiting the floating markets always proves to be a fascinating and rewarding experience for all visitors.
We drive to Mytho, boat through the lush green vegetation of the canals to an orchard, where we are treated to a delicious lunch complete with tropical fruits. We also visit a snake farm (optional) that breeds snakes for, among other things, snake wine  and enjoy a bonsai garden.

Afternoon drive to Ho Chi Minh city, transfer to the airport for the flight VN 847  1725/1845  to Siem Reap

Day 08 : Siem Reap

This morning we will embark on an elephant ride to sight Angkor Thom ? ?the World of Gods?, that includes South Gate, the famous Bayon, Elephant terrace, the terrace of Leper King, Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas and Ta Keo. In the afternoon we visit Preah Khan, Neak Pan, Ta som and East Mebon Tonight we will enjoy diner with traditional Khmer folk performance of Apsara.

Day 09 : Siem Reap

Our sightseeing for today includes the Koulen Mountain, Banteay Srey and Banteay Samre Temples. After breakfast we take a one and half hour drive to Koulen Mountain, where we will visit the great reclining Buddha, water falls, and the Siva lingas carved on the riverbed. We have a picnic lunch before visiting Banteay Srey and Banteay Samre Temples.

Day 10 : Siem Reap- Departure

Leisure untill transfer to the depature flight.
